Prominent Tax Dodgers revealed in leaked documents

Breaking news now

"David Cameron has admitted he did have a profitable stake in his father’s offshore investment fund, five days after the leak of the Panama Papers."

Dish faced twat needs to step down.

This is what David Cameron said on 20th June 2012 about anti-Establishment comic Jimmy Carr’s use of a tax avoidance scheme:

“It is straightforward tax avoidance, and unfair on the people who pay to watch him perform that he is not paying his taxes in the same way that they do….I think particularly the Jimmy Carr scheme…well, I just think this is completely wrong.

“People work hard, they pay their taxes, they save up to go to one of his shows. They buy the tickets. He is taking the money from those tickets and he, as far as I can see, is putting all of that into some very dodgy tax avoiding schemes. That is wrong. There is nothing wrong with people planning their tax affairs to invest in their pension and plan for their retirement – that sort of tax management is fine. But these schemes we have seen are quite frankly morally wrong.”

But when it came to Tory donor Gary Barlow’s tax dodge, Well….Dave got him an OBE, and said “I have not had time to look into the Gary Barlow scheme”. And he never found the time…because that’s the last we ever heard from him on the subject.

Excellent work Moriati.

Now where's that joker that was moaning on page 1 of this thread about how quickly bluemoon turns into tory bashing. Come and defend that.

It's not a grim view, it's accepting human (or just basic animal) behaviour. We would all like to have as much as possible and we would all like to sacrifice as little as possible to get that. In the political landscape that generally equates to the poor voting for tax and welfare increases and the rich voting for tax and welfare cuts.

I think elements of the Conservative party are a bit nasty, but in the current climate I would prefer that to the prolific happy-spending elements of the Labour party.

They went after the dossers, but many of the dossers were posing as disabled. It was an incredibly difficult thing to cut back on but the spending that Labour introduced wasn't manageable. I think Osbourne went way too far in cutting disabled welfare to give higher rate payers a tax cut though.

Wrong.
You might think thast way but their are plenty of people that don't.

Can someone please tell me what's wrong with Cameron being worth millions? We still live in a country where you can be made to feel guilty for having money passed down to you. I wish my fucking dad had left me a few million in an offshore account.

I'm stunned this has made such a splash - does anyone genuinely not think that multi millionaires stash money offshore? Christ, I'd do the same if I was worth millions.

Christain values
British values
All in this together
Austerity

If some multi millionaire started preaching to me about how i should think and act, then they did the opposite then yes, i'd be 'making a splash'.
Cameron is the prime fuckin minister.
