Sick and tired of the greed of the world's politicians. They are disgusting, morally fucking bankrupt austerity peddlars and they are robbing us blind as usual. Yet they always seem to get away with it. The bent banking twunts and others are under_regulated and able to crash the world economy in pursuit of their own narrow interests. Then we end up bailing them out because our politicians are too stupid or too ideological to do anything about it.

Their austerity peddling, "we're all in this together" bullshit looks more hypocritical by the day. Maybe people need to stop voting for right-wing sociopaths. Turkeys and Christmas comes to mind.

i imagine this will follow the same pattern as the revelations of world-wide sex abuse by priests, as in it will very quickly disappear from the media. Hmrc will announce an inquiry which will then be dropped due to lack of evidence, and everything will go back to normal.
Until the crime of tax-fiddling is taken seriously by the powers-that-be then it will proliferate. I wont hold my breath

Keynesian economics would be great. I'd love it if we could be spending our way through the recession. But we can't because Labour spent their way through the good times as well. We can't spend money all of the time as that simply shifts the problem onto future generations.

Bit of a grim world view, that. And I do not believe one word they say about the role of government and what is or isn't good for the economy. If IDS says Osbourne and co are a bunch of ideological zealots who cut welfare spending as a matter of principle, then we need to look at that whole issue again because IDS is not exactly Fidel Castro in these respects. And as for dossers and layabouts, well they're just a fact of life. Their existence isn't any reason to attack the financial welfare of families and the disabled.... unless you're George Rich Boy Osbourne, that is.
