There was a quality one in Swinton near the Bulls Head.

Unfortunately the owner (Pete) passed away a few years ago.

He was a lovely bloke and a big City fan. As is his son Glyn, who I see at the game every now and again.

Heywood Fish bar next to the market is good and I'm off there now.

Best one in the Wood has got to be the the Wooden Hut inbetween the Black Swan and Bay Horse pubs. Class. Fish cooked fresh on request. Belter.

No joke but there is a superb chippy outside Elland Road.

I think it's called Billy's or some other 'Bremner' connotation.

Other than that 'The Wetherby Whaler' or the Kingfisher in Wakefield.

Don't mind our Lancashire/GM chippies but just love the taste of Yorkshire fish 'n' Chips cooked in half a cow's worth of beek dripping!
