A chap I work with has recently had his prostrate removed (cancerous) via robotic keyhole surgery. He is back in work full time now and slowly getting his fitness back.
What date are you looking at mate ?March the Month 2024
Hit 11,000 steps a day this March and raise money to save more men.marchthemonth.prostatecanceruk.org
We’ve a blank weekend coming up so if anyone likes a good walk over the tops we’re doing a fundraising walk over bleaklow (passing the B-29 crash site Over exposed) . We meet at the Queens in Old Glossop 9:15 am where breakfast will be served and end up in the BeeHive pub Whitfield where there’ll be food available also.
Both pubs have agreed that all monies raised for the food goes straight into the fundraiser for prostate cancer uk. It’s a stunning walk over the tops of Glossop roughly about 11k . If anyone would like to come or donate please see the links .
Thanks everyone.
Up the blues.
Great words Phil and thank you ,you’ll be back on your feet in no time pal, we’ll do it again next year !!Good man A57. A worthy cause.
Still too many men unaware of what this is all about. I was diagnosed December 2017. Had brachytherapy, radiotherapy and hormone jabs. My PSA now down at 0.01.
Would love to join you but am currently recovering from a fractured hip which has made me miss quite a few games this season.
Good luck and I hope there are lots of people there supporting you.
