Your doing the best route there mate take a break, refresh then have a good talk to all the consultants, similar route what I tookgot biopsy reults yesterday, consultant said cancer was detected in my prostate at a low level, gleason score is 3+4 with 1 out of 6 cores on the right and 0 out of 6 cores on the left. the percentage of pattern 4 is noted to be10% and the greatest focus of tumour is less tham 1mm.he offered 3 treatments, 1 having prostate removed, 2 radio therapy or 3 active surveillence, i'll have appointments with the surgical team and the radio therapy team before i decide what to do in about a months time. i asked him which he would reccomend but he said that decision had to be mine but i got a feeling that he favoured the active surveillence rout so i'll wait and see what my next appointments bring. gonna try and book an holiday in the sun before then

I had a radical prostectomy , and then needed radiotherapy a couple of years later
So if you need or want any background in the two don’t be shy in asking mate.

3+4 mate from what I can remember,we met both consultants on the same day , it was well developed by this time so they wouldn’t do active surveillance it was too late , it was all very quick from diagnosis to treatment, whatever you decide you have time to decide and looks like it’s been caught in time.what was your gleason score though, my heads all over the place listening to friends who had different biopsy reults

Got my Biopsy on Tuesday afternoon. Hoping for the best yet fearing the fucking worst.Just got my next appointment for 16 July with the radiotherapy team I think or possibly the surgical team or maybe both
