Following positive dialogue with City Matters this evening, we are delighted to share new ticketing information, particularly as we prepare for the opening of the expanded North Stand next year.

Confirmation that the majority of the additional General Admission seat capacity, resulting from the expansion of the North Stand for the 2026/27 season, will be dedicated to Season Ticket Members
Good news. Probably better news than the Season Ticket price freeze.
Still work to be done though.
The 10-game personal attendance rule should not have been put in place (sometimes things happen which just stops people being able to attend, even for just a short period of time: severe illness, having a baby, having to work away… temporary things which across decades of having a ST is a small period of time where someone can’t attend, yet will see them have their ST taken off them).
Matchday tickets need to have a greater range of pricing, with lower prices for different parts of the ground (like the very front rows of Level 1 and the very back rows of Level 3, more reasonable mid-band pricing for behind the goal… £71-88 for Villa last week, £61-78 for Wolves tomorrow are just too much, they’re either expensive or very expensive, with the cheapest adult ticket there being the same price as Liverpool’s most expensive adult ticket).
Matchday tickets need to be much
much cheaper for children. They are, on average, 413% more expensive than the average price of children’s tickets at United and Liverpool.
The amount of non-City fans and fans of the away team or an away player in the City stands needs addressing, for the safety of them, Blues, children and to stop people getting banned for reacting to their incitement.
Ticket prices for Cup games need to be announced much earlier than they are, have set prices for each round and phase, reïntroduce bundle pricing for Cul games, (Inter and Madrid tickets were far too expensive, they weren’t even in the KO Stage, money for the Feyenoord game was announced as being taken from our banks accounts the day before).
Among a number of other issues… but things are moving in the right direction.
Well done to everyone involved so far from the club for taking on board fans’ grievances, to City Matters reps, to fans groups like 1894 and MCFC Foodbank Support, to everyone who joined in with the 9-minute protest against Leicester and the demonstration against Villa.
Still work to be done though.
