Protest v Wolves

It's about seasoncards. You missed this paragraph...

It was always the Club’s intention to release new Season Tickets as part of the expansion of the North Stand. Whilst the seating configuration of the stand is yet to be finalised, we can confirm that it will be predominantly GA seating and that the majority of the additional GA seating capacity will be held by Season Ticket Members, through the release of new Season Tickets.

If it was 'ALWAYS' the directors intention to release new season tickets (only 500 Flexi-Gold initially), why didn't the directors announce that months or weeks ago, or when the directors announced a season ticket price freeze after the previous City Matters meeting? Why!? Why wait just before tonight's 2nd protest to announce that? The directors are playing the fans. The directors are feeding the fans scraps, bit by bit, trying to placate the fans.

10.40 pm statement the night before a planned protest smacks of desperation with throwing last minute scraps to the plebs to shut them up

I’ll be on the concourse even if I’m alone

I’ll be right with you.

Like I said last night as soon as they announced it, anyone who feels placated by this is seriously gaslit.

You really are gullible if you are taken in by this latest statement from the club.

Aside from the protests I think the club have had a harsh awakening that we're not yet at the level of the rags and dippers, where floating fans will pay any price to watch us and take up the slack from regular fans who won't. Recent empty spaces at home games and the semi final has probably spooked them. Add on the alienation of loyal fans and us losing players like De Bruyne, possibly Ederson and Walker etcetera and there is no guarantee next season will be more successful than this one. Wobbly ground and they have to get people back onboard.
Certainly seems that way, I will be on the concourse tonight, they will just come back next year with a bigger rise, don't be sucked into thinking the suits have seen the light

The demand was for more seasoncards and this is from the announcement...

That means a minimum of 4,000 season tickets will be released in 2026-27.

A win is a win.

Yeah everything’s hunky fucking dory.

You are deluded.

Couldn't he/she just keep his/her regular ST next season and then apply for a flexi gold the following season when the new NS opens and there will be thousands more flexis up for garbs?
They could but I'm pretty sure they will sell out so may be better for them to convert to flexi now if they know the other option is having their season ticket removed

why would it be off ?

protest is on
I supported the protest against Leicester and would have done for today but won't be now for wolves and think it should be called off.

The club have set out a clear route for people to be able to attend every game and be a season ticket holder.

500 people will get to become a flexi holder which gives them the opportunity to attend every game and sit in the same seat.

If they then so wish, they can upgrade to a season ticket by attending 16 games.

That's a clear road map to a season ticket. OK, it's only 500 but will 500 united, Liverpool, spurs or arsenal fans get a ticket for next season that enables them to attend every game? No.
Then 4000 the year after will have the same opportunity. People wanting to take kids to games regularly can now see a clear route to do so.

I also think the changes made with tickets will mean we see the ground a lot more full next season

The topic is specifically centred on season ticket availability. I am aware that there are other issues. But they are other issues. When your demand is met accept it. That doesn't mean you don't make other demands. And don't pick stupid issues like viagogo or anti-foreign issues like football tourists.

You really have no idea how sanctimonious and brainwashed you sound, do you.

And you have no idea what I think. Where have I mentioned Viagogo? That bullshit from the club is just the icing on the shitty cake.

And how fucking DARE YOU mention xenophobia? That shit sickens me and I’ve reported racism to the club previously, which I’ve mentioned several times on this forum. Fuck you for even suggesting I’d have a thought like that for even a split second.

I want an apology from you now.

The announcement is vague because a majority of the capacity increase can be 4,000 - 8,000. And we don't know how it will work (waiting list) but that's to be worked out.

I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to the issues that have been raised recently.

You do seem to get very offended and aggressive over the slightest things. Perhaps take a break from the internet huh.

There will be plenty of empty seats at the game anyway. Football on a Friday night should never happen, most people are going on a night out after a week at work. They will go to the pub and take in the game there.
Sad that a few ales are a priority.. at today's prices 4 pints is a match txt. Fans who have an ST already paid for but don't show because of ale priority are looking at an £80 to £100 Friday post work ale cost. Makes the out priced arguement impossibke for tgem to make. I cant go tonight sadly..work meeting in London till 5 pm. What sh*t KO really

This is a perfect opportunity to include VAR as part of the protest. After all, the increased ticket prices are largely the result of the cost that all Premier League clubs have to pay for VAR and all the excessive technology that goes along with it. It's very expensive to maintain, not to mention the upfront costs. They could even give away all those iPhones hanging around to fans who could use them for their actual purpose. Removing VAR is a win win for fans. Not only will it return the full joy of football to all but it would immediately reduce costs and would directly result in lower ticket prices.

Does it? So 100% there will be 4,000 new season tickets in the north stand? Where does it say that?

Not just season ticket holders moving from other parts of the ground
