Protests and disruption at the Snooker now!!

They're trying to make the point that people become outraged by something "trivial" but aren't outraged by the climate crisis etc.

That said, surely there's better ways to approach the subject. Ruining a night for the players and spectators who've spent a lot of money on tickets, tavel and hotels etc isn't on.

These protestors have probably racked up more air miles travelling to Yoga retreats in Bali, creating a bigger carbon footprint than most of us. It's hypocritical and condescending to then preach to us.

A shot in the arm for snooker so to speak, it’s bad that these protests disrupted play yesterday, but it’s also good that snooker will get much more coverage now because of it.

Of course we should be aiming towards a cleaner, renewable energy but the problem with these Just Stop Oil people is that they want everything to stop immediately without us having a viable replacement. Plus what exactly does disrupting a snooker match or throwing soup over a classic and treasured painting actually achieve?

Is this what hell looks like?

Nothing but a bunch of spoilt rich kids playing at being passionate about something they wouldn't give a flying fuck about if they lived in the real world and didnt have mummy and Daddies trust fund to rely on.

The cunts need a fucking good hiding.

The climate issue is important and needs addressing. However picking on soft targets like the snooker isn't going to garner much support.

Instead the protestors need to start machine-gunning a few hedge fund managers and bankers, then more people would get behind them.
