The climate issue is important and needs addressing. However picking on soft targets like the snooker isn't going to garner much support.

Instead the protestors need to start machine-gunning a few hedge fund managers and bankers, then more people would get behind them.

I don’t imagine the intention of these publicity stunts is to specifically gain support through them. It’s to raise awareness of their existence and their cause.

For example, how many people had heard of “Animal Rising” before the Grand National on Saturday?
