Protests outside a Batley School

Course you can lampoon it if you want to.

You are confusing lampoon with hate speech.

What do you call a small, Muslim house of worship located in Mexico?

A mosquito

What do you call a Muslim billionaire?

Profit Muhammad

Jokes, poor ones, but jokes nonetheless.

All Muslims are cunts and should be burned to death

That is hate speech

Anti-Muslim Bigotry vs. Genuine Criticism of Islam | Free Inquiry (secularhumanism.org)

Have a read of this. Its an interesting perspective.
All that is fine Rasc, no problem, but you have just assumed that the criticisms being levelled are indeed hate speech, they are not.
Shouting at, and outright calling people cunts that should be burned to death runs counter to not only the recently introduced 'Hate Speech' law
but is also incitement to murder and is a crime in itself, I'd have thought,
and is a serious crime, whoever it's directed at.

If you think sensitivity is neither here nor there then that is an issue in my view.

My experience of Muslims is not yours, clearly.
And you are welcome to your view, even though in no way does what you say even countenance the possibility of the sensitivities of Christian children,
or their parents. They are probably utterly appalled at these events, but are
understandably very fearful of expressing their views or opinions.
Everything being discussed is the sensitivities and feelings of a certain sect,
how to react to it, how to deal with it, and as I mentioned previously, it's
now entrenched, anyone else outraged simply has to put up with it, and keep
quiet about it.
I guarantee that this discussion, in common with many other online platforms,
will be pulled, and the sad part is, everyone knows why.

Why would it get pulled? I’ve seen plenty of commentary the last few days in support of the teacher and criticising the protestors and the schools reaction to it in mainstream media

That's a very valid question, but then again, so were previous threads.

We know why he has gone into hiding and I have not seen one person on this thread who condones the venom of the protest regardless of whether they were critical of the teacher, or not.
