PS3 V Xbox360

PS3 for me. More of an historical thing as I have owned the previous two but also because it does feel like a more adult console.

I also hate Microsoft. Dunno why. Probably for the same reason I won't deal with Apple.

I've got both. I think it comes down to if you'll be playing online or not. If not, go for the PS3. It's a much better multimedia machine. Plus if you have a 3D TV the PS3 games are awesome to play on it.
If you're going online, the XBOX is much better. For example, on call of duty the new maps come out a month before on XBOX.
I started with the PS3, but got an XBOX as a i knew more people who had them so i could team up in multiplayer games.
Which ever one you buy, get Skyrim. It's bloody awesome!

The new 360's look nice as fuck

Think I've had 3 Xbox 360 consoles and none of them have had RROD.

The new slim 360's (of which I own one) are quiet as fook.

You can pick up blu-ray players now from ASDA cheap as chips.

Xbox controller comes wireless as standard

All new Xbox's have wireless built in

It's free for a reason, it's crap.

So the only one it's got one up on is online browser which I for one, when I had a PS3, never used anyway as I've got a laptop.

Ps3
- Better looking than the 360 So many editions of xbox's eg star wars, MW3, GOW3
- Nowhere near as loud as the 360 the new xboxs are silent whilst playing games
- doesn't have the massive power adapter the newer ones are tiny
- doesn't get the red ring of death can be fixed, and ps3's have the "yellow light"
- better controller Xbox pads fit my shovels better than ps3 pads
- online browser i wish the xbox had this feature

- free online play the servers are terrible and unreliable

also to this point the xbox has many more apps than the ps3 and also the ability to watch sky on your console which can be watched live or all on demand which is a fantastic feature

also the ability to multi chat with friends so if you was playing fifa and a friend was playing COD... then you can speak to them... something that the ps3 doesnt allow
