Bought an Xb1, it's shit so I've now bought a ps4 - happy days.

Of course not, Sony own them. Likewise, your PS4 won't get any 343i exclusives.

kinect is horrendously shit,

Fair enough if you don't like it, but is there anything in particular you don't like? Not many games have come out, though a few like FIFA, Forza, Dead Rising, etc. have Kinect features that are interesting. I also quite like the voice commands as switching between a game, TV or Netflix without having to look for the remote/controller is quite useful. I also like being able to walk into the room, say 'Xbox On' and have everything switch on and boot up while I unload the shopping or whatever.

and PS4 is the lead console for Destiny.

What is your point about this? All games have a lead console and a port console. There is unlikely to be much significant difference as both use the DirectX API.

Xbox is great for tv....unless you have sky or free view or.....any other form of tv because the flickering and poor pal support is crap.

The 50Hz issue was a bug and has since been fixed, so there are no longer micro-stutters when watching UK TV. It's quite nice having party invitations, skype calls and the like popping up on screen while you watch TV so you don't have to flick back to the console to check for them.

No uk one guide either.

I agree that I would much prefer it with the One Guide, but then it's not like other consoles have this and the Xbox doesn't. It will be a unique feature to the Xbox and should be with us by summer. Where is the harm in continuing to use the existing guide until then?

Xbox is just grim and no amount of drivers is going to close those gaps.

Firstly, it isn't drivers that are being introduced (though there likely will be driver tweaks), it is an entirely rewritten graphics API. It's a very large part of the console functionality. Secondly, I find it odd that you think that considering how much both the performance and functionality of the Xbox 360 improved during it's lifetime. If there is one thing Microsoft did better than Sony last generation, it's system updates.

If you're buying an Xbone or PS4 purely for gaming purposes the only factor affecting your choice should be friends and at a push, exclusives. PS4 fanboys that bring up the minor graphic differences are laughable, buy a PC if you're after the best graphics.

Titanfall looks fucking crap. XBone has morte or less none of it's games running at 60 Frames in 1080p. - Next Gen, my arse. I can run Titanfall better on my Gaming Rig.

The best game released this week is Dark Souls II. Might make you rip your pubes out in frustration, but it's miles better than the next mindless shoot em up. No fucking single player? -Really?-

Disclaimer: I couldn't care less about the console war, I'm a PC gamer. So I'm not fanboying, I'm just disappointed with the Xbone being called next gen when it can't even run games at a next gen rate.

Titanfall is quality but I would agree about the games available for both consoles. IMO the problem is the target market, they won't make a game most people wont buy. Consoles are generally for quick instant matches for an hour or two, if I'm on my PC the time spent will be at least twice that.

That's probably because the command to turn it off is "Xbox, Turn Off" not "Xbox, Off". I mostly use the 'On' function when I'm walking into the room. I like being able to move between episodes/seasons of a show or switch to TV and change channels whilst eating or cooking, or being able to quickly mute everything if the phone rings. It seeing my face, signing me in and giving me all my apps straight away is nice as well. Little things are sometimes nice to have, even though they aren't that big a part of the experience.

EVERY multiformat game is better looking, at a higher res and a higher frame rate on PS4.

They took a good game in Bungies Halo and made a mess of its balancing and gfx.
Halo 5 isn't going to be out until 2015 either. The genre has moved on and 343 are in charge of milking a dying IP. Just look how quickly Gears of War went shite.
Meanwhile the creator of Halo have moved on to making PS4 leading titles whilst XB plays second fiddle.

Destiny will look better, play at a faster frame rate and with a higher resolution - it's also been announced that the PS4 version will have exclusive DLC.
So again, why pay the same and get less with the XB Version.
Not a single screen shot has been shown on the XB version, all the footage shown has been of the ps4 version and that itself is worrying for XB players.

It has been poled that Kinct only turns your xbox on at the first attemp 40% of the time.
The amount of time it gets it wrong is amazing. Have you seen the ps4 cam? Looks and works very similar so that's not really the USP MS said it would be - and with the ps4 your not forced to have it.
There are no games out really for kinect and so your stuck with using it to switch between non gaming apps. Great, unless you bought a games console to play games with.
Kinect has been that great with its kinect controls of the TV they have just released a TV remote for it because no-one wants to use it.
Your sat there wanting it to be great but to play games with, well it's really just shit.

No software in the world is going to make up a 20% difference in pure gfx, sound and CPU power, add to that the infinitly faster DDR5 memory and xbox is this years Dreamcast!

Lol! I have both consoles. How can I be a fanboy. I had a 360, I have 50059 gamerscore.
I wanted XBO to be the better console but it's an awful. It's simply a terrible system.
