Even though Bernardo is one of my all time favorite players, but I think it will be criminal to bench Gundogan after his last performance.
It will be criminal to play Gundo 4 days later I think because, go on then have a guess.

They have actual top class midfielders playing in their natural positions and that's all it takes to beat us currently.

Without a proper DM we will fold, gaps in midfield and conceding chance after chance in transitions, Pep rested Bernie with the intention of playing a double-pivot with Kova.

Our best chance at winning is to outscore them.

I find out scoring the opposition is usually the best way to win……I’m not aware of any other way :-)

I think lfc, RM, Barca, Bayern etc have already won most of their games in europe before they step onto the pitch, their reputation precedes them. I think that City might have that against PSG despite where our players heads are at the moment. I think we might beat them

That was Ipswich. Savio, Foden and Bernardo will all start imo. Gundogan will be a sub. I don't think City will start Doku and Savio. We could. They will cause PSG problems but they will also lose the ball in transition and Pep normally plays very conservatively away in Europe.

I'd assume they are training elsewhere but other than Khusanov and Reis, there isn't a single defender training with the group that they've shown on open training on the OS. No Lewis, Gvardiol, Ake, Akanji or Nunes.

Just read several pages of this, without even thinking of Jack Grealish, in itself pretty sad.
Can barely remember Doku doing anything in big games. I'd have given JG game time long before now, in prep for CL - how many on here now praising Phil were 5 minutes ago calling for his head, before he suddenly - unexpectedly, mid-game - found his mojo again?
Watch EH when Jack plays - he's much more lively, because he actually expects the ball to reach him.
I've said it before, but Erling's body language is poorer with Doku on the wing, you can almost see his shoulders slump just like Aguero's used to whenever the ball reached Sterling.
A mazy run (typically, against poor teams) counts for nothing if it doesn't result in a goal attempt

I'm feeling the most confident I have in a while!

Ederson

Nunes
Dias
Akanji
Gvardiol

Gundogan
Kovacic

Savio
Foden
Doku

Haaland

0-2
Nonsense team selection. KDB was subbed early at Ipswich with this game in mind. Likewise Gundog was left on for 90 mins knowing that rested Bernardo will start instead.

Would be amazed if KDB didn’t start. Hence Pep taking his 2 main men off with 30 to go on Sunday
Completely understandable opinion. Was a toss up between foden and kdb. Went with foden based on my theory of pep trying to go for total control of the game and kdb from the bench for 20 minutes if required is a potent threat.
