Platini = French.

Yes ... my first thought too .

Platinis plans were primarily aimed at City ...... PSG have just gotten in the way !

They are the 'Real Madrid' of French football , and doors will be left open for them , especially from a guy who CAN leave them open !

This, I think, is about the size of it. Adjustments will be made and the necessary rules ammended IMO.

Christ im sorry i started this post now im not that keen on the French but i only wanted to know why theyr getting away with it and others wont can we get back on topic

The financial rules were brought in to stop another City happening...it's that simple. PSG are the only club in a huge City without a more powerful neighbour who goes crying to uefa. Had for example the Qatari's bought Atletico Madrid or Napoli and spent huge amounts looking to challenge the elite of Europe you can be guaranteed Platini and his cronies would be spouting shit on a daily basis. The whole thing is a fucking farce.

With psg about to spend yet more mega money on Moura plus the untold millions theyv spent in the last six months wher does this leave them with the FFP rules or more to the point what are the implications for us if they can flout them why is Marwood so worried
psg can do what they want, they are french, so can chelsea, they are champions of europe,
however we cannot cos we are ruining football

As has been pointed out Platini cannot select clubs which must obey the rules and clubs which need not. If the rules are in accordance with commercial law - and that is at least questionable - UEFA has an obligation to apply them even handedly to all clubs. Any claim that UEFA is failing in its obligation would be decided by the courts. Such a claim would probably trigger a ban for the FA of the club going to court, but if the verdict were to go against UEFA the ban would be unenforceable and the compensation would be ruinous. After the way UEFA persisted with an unwinnable case against Bosman it is not beyond question that Platini and the UEFA establishment have not even considered this.

At the risk of repeating myself, why does UEFA have to look at PSG's books until they are financially sound? They don't, or anyone else's for that matter, unless they feel like it. Or does anyone know different?
