PSG Away Ticket details - Update now 2,200 tickets available

The lad went away and checked twice and confirmed they were being sent out.
I can only guess that it is a letter being sent out with all the details of where to collect.
Regarding wristbands I know some Chelsea were cutting their bands and sticking them back with chewing gum.
Quite what they were achieving with this I'm not sure, perhaps selling them on.
So there must be some way round it.
I'v heard that they're using a medical stapler to stop people doing this now, they use the back of the wrist and it's just a pinch as the saying goes. Not sure if you have to remove it yourself but staple removers are cheap enough.

It is unfair when you think there are people like me ahead of him who could miss out as a result. I really do think we'll be surprised how low this goes, when you think of how many people have 15,000+ points, compared to the number of faces you see at games, there must be a lot of points whoring going on. If this goes sub 10k points they should adopt this policy for all games moving forward IMO.

No they shouldn't. This will stop many fans from being able to go at all, stop groups of mates going together, have more or less the same people at every game and potentially having non sell outs when there are people sat at home who wanted to go.

Yes, it is whoring. We all like to help mates out - but it doesn't make it right.
Already, these tickets have gone lower than expected. This shows there is a problem. The other big problems of SCs and corporates remain. Come on City, give out the figures for ticket distribution - how many Belgians this time?
Whilst i see your point, and agree with it, I'd much rather @Eds mate on 10,000 points gets the ticket than someone who hasn't been to a game all season and doesn't have a seasoncard get tickets for this game and Bournemouth away

I agree with Manchester33, it is whoring whether for points or to court favour with a mate. The reason for the cheating is irrelevant.

If someone has more points then they should be before someone in the queue with fewer points, it is as simple as that. Ed's mate is not my mate and nor is he the mate of everyone else in front of him in the queue so this argument has no substance.

That's a stupid way to look at it though, don't get me wrong it's good to go with your mates, but your mates should go to the Norwich and Sunderland games that don't sell out and bring their points up, not avoid all the less attractive games, unlike myself, then jump ahead of me in the queue for the big attractive games. It's just wrong and their isn't really any justifying it. It's a loophole which I understand why people would use it, but it doesn't make it fair.

If we adopted this policy for 2 or 3 seasons, the points whores would fall down the pecking order and people like myself who can't get up to the same level as them would catch up.

I accept it is whoring as I pointed out in my OP although the point you make is also a fair one. In another scenario let's say I can go to Paris and then the day before I am struck down with illness and can't travel. Do I come on here and say whoever has the most points and can prove it can have the ticket or do I help a mate out. In this case it seems that I would be stuck with the ticket as I wouldn't be able to pick it up. The biggest problem is from what I can see is a lack of transparency from the club over allocations to various groups. I have no issue with corporate sponsors having tickets if they use them themselves although if they don't then those tickets should be redistributed to the fans. Same with the 93.20 crowd.

I have just over 13,000 points but due to work commitments I can't travel. My mate on 10,000 can go but probably won't qualify. Is it really point whoring if I buy the ticket to help a mate out. Strictly speaking yes it is but surely people can't begrudge the odd time when people help out a mate. It is those that are on Facebook the day after they go on sale offering up their tickets that is the problem.

I don't begrudge you helping out a mate. I think the club should take reasonable measures so that they don't enable you to do it.
