The lower it goes the bigger the point whoring problem is. As i predicted to you before the details were announced, you'd be surprised just how many do 1-2 euro aways a season at most and sell the rest on. There's not many that can afford literally thousands of pounds for 3/4/5 games at season.
I reckon it will go to between 10-11k instead of selling out at 15-16k
Congratulations to City for getting something right despite the overwhelming amount of moaning on here when it was announced that this collection in paris would bee happening

My lads are first thing in the morning and another couple of their mates at midday same as your lad. The thing is if this system wasn't in place I could have got them tickets, better this way so they can build up their own points.Heres hoping for my lad at midday tomorrow
It appears that we have opened up a can of worms, with tickets being collected in person in the host City.
Much to my surprise we seem to have a big problem with Ticket point whores on a larger scale than I thought.
So we now know where the majority of tickets on face book come from.
We also know ,that the supporters clubs are abusing the ticketing system, in how they allocate their tickets.
It will be interesting to see how many overseas supporters who have sourced their tickets through the agency City use we have in our section on Wednesday.
Does the same criteria apply to them, regarding collection.
Now City the ball is in your court, we the supporters have highlighted areas of concern , it is up to you to stop it.
There is only one way, and it clearly works, All tickets are sold through the box office and you can purchase a ticket when you meet the criteria.
The only exceptions to this are the tickets City allocate to Corporate and internally in the club, but they must also be transparent in this stating, how many they are allocating to each.
And to the Mods on here, you to can help, stop ticket selling on here.
Show City the way, we want City fans who have done the miles and the match's to be able to attend the top match's, through their loyalty and not by who they know

as discussed I get the fact you want to help a mate but when someone says "I can get you (insert any game) tickets from wed onwards" its just plain whoring. do the buyers not realise they will NEVER catch up whilst doing this.

I'm surprised the Facebook site hasn't been shutdown by city to be honest. I don't see how the club benefit from this at all. Maybe they can't.

And that sums it up perfectly.
Unfortunately, it isn't feasible to have everyone picking up away tickets in this country so people will continue to buy and sell on. However, European games should always be sold in this way and it has definitely shown how big the problem is.
For Premier League aways? Maybe spot checks for certain people to pick up at ticket offices but not sure if it could work in reality.

i will be absolutely amazed if this goes to 12 o'clock - but who knows.
Ticket office told me today can collect tickets on Tuesday afternoon (3-8pm i think) and most of Wednesday....they didnt state where pick up point was other than 'somewhere central.
