Someone mentioned earlier that utd did it for the Liverpool game. Anyone know how they policed it?

doesn't need closing down, a face value site is a good idea. what they should do is adopt our way of doing things and that is only sell them after its sold out, with genuine spares being offered. if a poster is always having "spares" you boot him off, we do.

lol there are loads well past me mate. I had a look the other day and in 2003 when I bought the shop and a new house I didn't attend an away game in my own name. I must have done the odd one somehow but only really did home games. 2004 was a similar story. can't buy two properties and afford football away games. lost an awful lot of points but that's life. things are easier now.

Neither bluemoon or facebook should be selling tickets on their sites irrespective of whether the match sells out.
If people have spares for any reason take them back to the club who can resell them and deduct the original buyers loyalty points.
Its not rocket science for City to change there 7 day rule, so lets not have any get out clauses
We all agree there's a problem so lets all try to sort it.
 
we need to remember that for the vast majority of away games this season tickets went on general sale, with at least 6/7 games not selling out
