To answer few of your points:

It appears that we have opened up a can of worms, with tickets being collected in person in the host City.
Much to my surprise we seem to have a big problem with Ticket point whores on a larger scale than I thought.

I think the scale has surprised most of us to be honest.

We also know ,that the supporters clubs are abusing the ticketing system, in how they allocate their tickets.

That's a bit of a generalisation. There are some SC's where the allocation system is fair and transparent, even if it's not done on the basis of ticket points. But there are some where that clearly doesn't apply.

And to the Mods on here, you to can help, stop ticket selling on here.

As Bill said, we do our best to police it and that has come about after many, sometimes heated, discussions. We keep a close eye on things and usually only allow people to advertise spares when it's too late to return them. We also don't allow people to ask for tickets before they'e sold out and neither do we allow people to advertise that they can get tickets. Plus anyone selling regularly is identified and banned.

what this is also going to do is for people on middle points who thought they had no chance of a European away ticket sign up for champs league/Europa league scheme next year. Also with away tickets at £30 next season I hope city manage to get something in place for next season. why not something similar with photo id needed to pick up tickets at away grounds and wristbands given on collection of tickets. the ticket tout sites are obviously getting their tickets from city fans with high loyalty points or from supporters clubs

Someone mentioned earlier that utd did it for the Liverpool game. Anyone know how they policed it?

It was done on the concourse of Euston station with another at Hilton Park services.

Where have I mentioned anything about home match's.
All my post's are about tickets for away games, through the loyalty points system.
Most people are of the opinion that we have a problem with the way tickets for away tickets are allocated.
I am offering a personal solution, you are opposed to anything that cuts the supporters club ticket allocation, that is your right.
I don't like having to pick up my ticket in Paris or Kiev, but I am prepared to be put up with it, if it means genuine fans getting the ticket they are entitled too .
I can make a sacrifice to eradicate the problem we have, can you ?

It's no big deal to me popping across Paris if it helps more Blues - just a minor inconvenience

You wanted the ticket forum closed down and by definition that affects home games as well as aways. Bill said there isn't a problem with the Forum (and where occasional issues arise they are sealy with swiftly) so if it ain't broke don't fix it!

The ticket allocations need to be reviewed when/if Joe's is expanded linked to the North Stand expansion so there is going to be change anyway.

Ii don't know about that mate, have you seen where we are staying?
My beef is its 35 minutes away on the metro from the hotel and 45 minutes away from the ground

Haha! Genuine supporter. I will let it go there because you are getting a bit carried away with yourself!

For some big games, like some other Blues on here, I've used contacts to help fellow fans get tickets eg obtaining sponsors tickets and competition winners.
