PSG Away Ticket details - Update now 2,200 tickets available

Anything that allows the middle point fans catch the up to the whores is fine by me.

It's a double edged sword for some of our lot. On the one hand, a mate of mine has around 11500 points and didn't qualify for a Sevilla ticket but this new system means he probably could've got one. He did get one but had to use someone else's card. Going forward, it should help him considerably and it'll be him getting the points rather than someone else.

Unfortunately it hinders 2 other mates who like to do the European aways and are much further down the loyalty point chain plus not on the CL cup scheme. One has 8000-plus points and the other 5000-plus. For Sevilla both travelled without tickets but had that hope that they could pick one up on the day and after a lot of networking on the day of the match we managed to secure tickets in the away end for both of them (somewhat laughably, one of the tickets we got was indirectly from a City fan that had travelled the day before but was too hungover to be arsed getting out of bed to attend the match!). With the new system, that hope they had of getting a ticket is pretty much removed unless we decide to do an obscure European away which not many will travel to.

It'll be interesting to see what happens if we get to the final, they might have 12,000+ picking up tickets in Milan, that could be absolute chaos.

You have two days to pick up them up if that was the case, wouldn't be to bad

My lads have just got their tickets, thanks to the new system they have been able to get them, not a cat in hells chance on the old system.

Can see both sides here. The most loyal should be rewarded and that means people that go, not just buy a ticket and sell it on.

But I wonder with limited capacities at many European grounds, and only 3-6 away games whether many will ever be able to experience a European away.

Maybe even set aside a percentage (5%) to be allocated to season ticket holders or cup scheme members through a ballot regardless of points.

It is as simple as that, I could of bought 6 tickets yesterday and today with our friends and Family on the website, but only two of my lads are actually going and they got theirs today, so the system is working for those with enough points for once.

I think that if we're going to carry on with this system, selection of the collection point is really important.

No reason why we shouldnt be able to find somewhere at or near the stadium.

Why not introduce a spot check system where your ticket 'may' be checked against ID at any away game. You always get patted down on the way in so it'd only take an extra 30 seconds to ask for ID. Checking 1 in 5 and refusing entry to anyone without the right ID will be enough to put the point whores off.

The system for the PSG game is by demand of the French police though and so I don't think City see that there is a problem to be addressed.

People would just say they have no ID and question whoever is attempting to check their ticket what authority they have.
