Have no problem with the system but wonder if City could give more notice in future.My cousin and his mates wanted to go but have sacked it off as travel is so much more expensive now.I booked Eurostar last night and it was about £70 more than last week when we first looked.Think we may struggle to sell this out now as a few will be in the same boat I suspect.

This shouldn't happen as all the fans who were expecting to use someone else's points will only have been pushed to the back of the queue and will qualify once the queue reaches their points threshold. Also presumably they have already booked their travel in anticipation of getting a ticket

I love the new system just got 2. Dropped down to 6000 points now as long as on CL scheme. Down to 0 points at 3pm.

Read a lot of this thread and I conclude that there are pros and cons for any system

Its about communicating the systems well in advance for me, not just change and leave some fans with booked trips and no tickets or with tickets available but expensive trips now to be booked.

Seems my concerns about masses being unable to ever get a ticket under this system were misplaced. Ballot even for a small percent of tickets doesnt seem so necessary if this is the norm.

Just a matter of making things as convenient a possible.

So this new system has blown the whoars out of the water for Euro trips, the cynic in me would say it's just a ruse to get more to sign up for the CL scheme next season.

Hopefully, the club will find some way of regulating tickets at all away games.

I normally struggle to get tickets for euro aways using my own SC number but managed today when it dropped to 6000 points (I have 9000 odd) just shows how many people were buying and passing tickets on. Must admit I have used mates tickets in past and am grateful for it but well pleased that I can now get tickets and points in my own right.

There may also be an element of how poor we are at the moment with the lack of demand.
