PSG Away Ticket details - Update now 2,200 tickets available

Nah Chelsea had to do the exact same thing with the wristband, this is a PSG/French Police thing

Correct, the introduction of the wristband is only enforced by the French police as stated on the website criteria (below), anywhere else in Europe it'll just be the ticket collection with no enforced wristband

- Paris Saint-Germain and the French police state that all supporters must be provided with a wristband when collecting their match ticket.
- The wristband must be worn to gain entry to the stadium.

This just confirms to me how many point whores there are on that Facebook group, there are literally hundreds who every game on that site offer their cards out without any intention of going to the game. Picking up tickets is a small price to pay to prevent this. Hopefully City can start deducting points from anyone seen to be point whoring on that site, shouldn't be hard considering there full names will be on there.

Personally I think if they are caught doing this , which like you say, is not difficult to monitor, they should have ALL of their points removed. Maybe one warning first.

There may also be an element of how poor we are at the moment with the lack of demand.

I don't think that would put many off but you never know. However, I think with the terrorist attacks in Paris a fair few may have decided to give this game a miss and as such I'm not convinced that the points whoring is quite as widespread as some are saying - even with the new system I'd be surprised if the points criteria for anything but the odd European away dropped as low as it has for PSG.

This is the biggest game we have ever played in the Champions league and only 2,200 and points going very low says there are a number of factors to why, still this new system must be kept to give everyone a chance.

Have no problem with the system but wonder if City could give more notice in future. My cousin and his mates wanted to go but have sacked it off as travel is so much more expensive now.I booked Eurostar last night and it was about £70 more than last week when we first looked.Think we may struggle to sell this out now as a few will be in the same boat I suspect.
Opposite problem for me - with the same damage I expect. I bought cheap Eurostar ticket as soon as date was announced - but when it looked like there was no chance of getting a ticket I bought one from a French website (not cheap of course). Could have got one today from City and saved myself some money!
It will take some time for fans to get used to a new system but it does seem fairer even if there are a few losers - like me.

Agree with that, all it would take is someone from the ticketing department having a quick 5 minute scroll through every couple of hours.
