PSG set to fail FFP again?

Interesting that for a similar case to the Galatasaray, the TAS is yet to give his verdict (after two weeks) about the "vice de forme" in the reopening of FFP investigation for the 2015/2016/2017 years.

Probably because it's a first, FFPR is fairly recent after all.
 
The thing is, like Galatasaray, PSG didn't reach for the TAS for the FFP per se. Both clubs have pointed out that UEFA bodies have not respected their own rules that state they need to issue their decision (investigation) 10 days after the previous ruling. It is then for a "vice de forme". How hard is it, when you have already seen the same case with UEFA failing to respect their own rules, to give a verdict for a similar case ?

UEFA are quite happy to rewrite their own rules before issuing a statement/judgement, form changing an annex to blatantly ignoring their own protocols as in the VAR Schalke broken screen fiasco.

And CAS have found in PSG's favour on this.

I wonder if this has any impact on their investigation into our pre-2014 situation?

I suppose it depends on the grounds for it - whether it's procedural or a matter of substance in terms of re-opening a closed enquiry. If the latter, then UEFA are stuffed.

All those months to give the same decision they gave on Galatasaray case...

PS: Well, PSG appealed according to a breach of rules by UEFA FFP bodies. I have read the article related to this and there is no clear text for the City case. In PSG case, they wanted to reopen an investigation they had already ruled without new elements (and they did not respect the delay).
In City case, they said they allow themselves to reopen a case that has already been investigated if there are new elements of wrongdoing not known at the time of the ruling. I don't know if this is possible with their "lax rules" but it is different from PSG.

They can't re-open a closed investigation more than 10 days after it's closed. It's 5 years since they closed our investigation and unless anything completely new has happened in the mean time then that might be that. But too early to say without knowing exactly what they're looking at.

It is in french, but there is a part citing a "close source from ICFC (l'instance de contrôle financier des clubs de l'UEFA)" saying that Ceferin (UEFA boss) can be relieved with that CAS decision, despite the seemingly defeat of UEFA. If CAS has ruled differently, ICFC instruction chamber would have been forced to sanction PSG. Thus, the latter would have been willing to intent legal action against UEFA after having complied with the June 2018 ruling of the IFCF chamber.

So, maybe that oops error by UEFA not respecting the delay imposed by their own rules is just a play to show the cartel (that is lobbying for a sanction) they are taking action while allowing PSG a way out, in order to prevent a full scale war.

Fucking wonderful news - lets take them to court and get the whole of FFP banished. It was brought in to serve as a purpose to stop another Portsmouth etc etc

It got re-morphed into something far sinister when the established G14 were being challenged and threw their toys out the pram - and now they want to re-brand the CL to stop further clubs having a chance
 
old financial loopholes in the uefa FFP rules they closed and none news ?? but uefa are still looking into manchester city in reopening the case of breaching the FFP we all ready been punished for ?? thank you PSG

PSG, a G14 club. As I've said many time PSG are collateral damage as UEFA hunt down their real target.

I'm sure it's trebles all round at UEFA headquarters.

Neither club deserves any sanction because neither has done anything wrong.
