The definition of racism:
"prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized."

If the fourth official has referred to him as "that black guy" then it surely does not meet that definition.

He’s apparently referred to someone as “the black guy” to distinguish them sat on the bench from the other players.

If it is that...Is that racism?

Genuinely open question to anyone with an opinion.

The number 5 would have done. If the ref is booking someone does he put their number or the colour of their skin in his notebook?

Listen to what Ba is saying. He's asking why black guy is being used when if it was a white guy it would simply be that guy. Why does he have to use the colour of his skin when he wouldn't if it was a white guy?
That's the issue. It's lazy. Casual racism.

I believe the allegation is stronger than that - this isn't Ba but its someone from the bench accusing someone of calling a black player a negro? Even if its misunderstood this is not a great week for racism in football.
