No I didn’t ..To be honest I’ve gone off craft beers , had 5 or 6 yrs trying all the latest brews , Indyman festivals ect . I’ve now gone back to cask ales , stouts & German beers . But I’m always very adaptable :)Track isn’t cheap either but craft beer places never are. Personally I don’t mind paying more for a nicer product.
I find Cloudwater beer quite samey tbh. Much more interesting stuff out there.
And did you know the stuff they sell in supermarkets isn’t even brewed by them - it’s brewed under licence.

As has been said - loads of decent places for a pint in NQ/Ancoats. And yes, the jukey in The Castle is the best in Manchester.

Can only speak as I found it, a Scottish lady used to run it with her daughter's and always felt welcome. The Scots lads who used the place were just the sort of people you'd want to have your back at Leeds or Liverpool .Thankfully it is now a modern, 21st century city centre pub that welcomes all comers and all cultures rather than the hotbed of far right bigotry, sectarianism and racism as it unfortunately used to be.
