Am I the only one that hates watching a City game in a pub?
They always seem to be full of numpty sky reds or some no nothing that just wants to rile anyone that is genuine in their support of a side playing.
Much prefer sitting in my own home watching it on either the TV or on the TV through a stream, add to that 48 cans of Bow for £20 is a lot better than paying £3 a pint and when it gets too stressful I dont have to go outside for a smoke.

Nope, me too. I used to watch City in the local WMC but it would always fill up with United fans who would support whoever we played. One day I went in when we had a party at our house for the 5.30pm Saturday game when the rags were on because some of my mates are ST holding rags [the game was a home match but they gave up the match for my birthday, best mates for years etc] . Anyway, this arsehole was spouting off about City saying we pipe chants through the PA system. So I pointed out to this knob the irony of him slagging off City fans who go to the game whilst he was in a club watching HIS team whilst they were playing less than 6 miles away. After a heated exchange, being ridiculously outnumbered, we watched the second half in my kitchen! Fecking rag tossers.

I still watch most City games in the boozer but i'm also getting pissed off with people willing whichever team we're playing to win.
However, it's my local and any gobby plastics generally get the sharp end of my topngue if they start shouting. The downside to this is i usually end up annoyed whatever the result of the game and it's not how i wanna watch us.

Tomorrow i will be laughuing me cock off at all the plastic reds who will turn up at the pub expecting to watch utd, only to be confronted with wall-to-wall City. Nice one Charlie..

Always have both on in my local if they clash. Give them loads armchair bastards. Landlord hates it if we're at home cos most of us go where those twats never bother. It's great when my mates 7 year old walks in shouting armchair supporters lol

maybe we should tell them there's tickets still avalible to watch there team ;-)

or ring the police and tell them pubs are illegally showing games...

United have got a much bigger fanbase in Manchester, or at least most parts of it, despite old myths. Makes sense.

What pisses me off is when some pubs show Liverpool, or even Spurs!
