I rang a bar in LA once to ask if they were showing City and they said yes. When I got there they had Man U on instead. Much easier watching online or on Fox sports for me.

Please tell me this isn't true?
not in my part of greater Manchester they don't

nor mine, Middleton is a blue town, always has been always will be. There is one true red pub Midd and 4/5 true blue ones

Its simple just tell the landlord you will be boycottig the pub. Fairness would be showing alternative games. ie show the team which is playing away.

I will, FAO Landlord of the Kenny, I am removing myself from today and further match clashes between us and rags, when we are away and I can't go. Can't move for dirty rats when both are on!

your all spot on here thats the problem in altrincham.

when city are at home the pubs are fairly empty as were all there where as when the rags are at home the pub is empty till 2.50 then the mass serge of dirty twatS come in sit there do a little cheer when they score then off by 4.50 where as if city are on and we score were almost hanging of the spinning fans on the lights.

we'll thats my take on it anyway and i probably seem bias but its my view.

most pubs in alty do have city on but like one poster said if the pub get more full with then on theres only one winner. anyway we all have the net and live stream even if it is shit. wouldnt see then c*nts doing it.

COME ON YOU BLUES

Apologies for not reading the thread but had lunch with another landlord yesterday. The Greek channel isn't showing City and so it may only be on Canal plus and the likes. Hence, it may not be the pub's fault so please don't have a go! It may be that come next season the pending European ruling means that only Sky will be shown in pubs and the days of watching 3pm KOs are then over, save for the internet. Bear this in mind for future plans! CTID

It's a bit of a squeeze, but if City are playing, the Brunswick will have it on.

Putting City to one side for a minute, pubs are businesses. They need to sell beer to pay the bills. Certainly around here there are more rags than Blues - I'm on border of Bolton/Salford - and there's a good showing of Blues for ours but not as many as rags at their games.

With so many pubs going bump the landlords have to show what brings the customers in. As it is round here City are third - behind rags and Bolton :-(
