Hartson used the word gamble in relation to a striker being at the back post during one game and then shitting himself (PC Brigade aware) spent the next 5 minutes explaining he meant it only as a football term.
Was so sad listening to him.

I haven't watched an entire WC game. I've watched a good number of first halves, but as soon as a pundit of whatever persuasion and shirt colour appears, it tends to kill my continued viewing stone dead. I'd probably see most games if 'crowd noise' was an audio option I even watched the first half of County v Charlton last night and then called it a day at HT.

Haha, I've seen very very little pre/HT/post stuff at all, in fact I've not seen that much of the games really but I did catch her at the end of that game while Mrs Moon was waiting for something to come on once they'd finished.

I'd earlier watched until it was 2-0 and post game she was wittering on about the dip keeper's second half performance and saves whilst talking about the footage being from the first half.

Lee Dixon will be his usual miserable self, muttering and grumbling in the background.
One good thing is the crowd noise almost drowns them out.

It’s come to something when I switch on the telly and I’m actually fucking pleased to see Keane, Neville and Wright on the panel rather than the equivalent of an episode of Loose Women with unfamiliar unknown female footballers who’ve apparently earned 1200 caps for France or scored 370 goals for England

I’d take both of those woman as pundits over rat face & Keane, all day long and twice on match days ..!!
