Seems incredibly easy for you to not hear commentary while all the people who do like it can enjoy it.
Should be the option nowadays to select feed with stadium noise and no commentary.

Here in the Netherlands we only have one commentator - no one else in the gantry. The pre match show still has the usual superstars.

No body on the BBC commentary team seemed to realise that Saudi Arabia scoring didn't make any difference to Mexico as they still needed one to go through on goals scored. Didn't matter in the end but would have been interesting if Mexico would have scored. Surely someone should have told them. Bit amateurish to be honest

Not quite. But he did say it was a disgrace they’d not had anyone booked in about the 85th minute. Even though at that point a lack of bookings was the only thing keeping them in second place in the group.

Is that why Wenger never gets asked to be a pundit?Most pundits are at the game, live. They can look around and see the entire field. So it's very likely they'll see something off camera and report it.
