Pundits/co Commentators?

I reckon commentary is overrated mate.

We didn’t hear or need to hear ‘Agüeroooooo!’ in the stadium when we were there live. What made that moment was the goal, the roar from the fans, what it meant towards the title, our history and what it meant in the wider context of the Manchester rivalry.

It wouldn’t be any less enjoyable to watch without any commentary. In fact, it’s better…

But then I wasn’t there when Michael Thomas scored at Anfield. There is a place for commentators. They just need to know their place.

It wouldn’t be to bad if there was more ex players from other teams apart from the usual rags, scouse, gunners which by the way when they do other teams they always end up talking about there ex clubs.

Lineker irritates me with his presenter's role. He'll ask a question, but before the pundit can reply or answer, Lineker will tell you what he thinks then wait for the comment. Also, he very rarely lets anyone finish giving their opinion without interjecting a snide comment.

Considering the fact that he's a rag, Mark Chapman is probably the best presenter that football has in England right now. When you take into account the start of this post that's some achievement.
Chappers is indeed a good lad

I'd second this.
A Rochdale lad who doesn't seem to have sold his soul to the boring agenda
