Pundits who are actually decent

The sky sports model of having those two utterly dislikable pricks , neville and carragher , is painful and MOTD shits all over it for short, concise analysis.

Who is having carragher as a pundit aimed at? How did he get his job back after spitting at a child? Did sky put ‘bantz’ over despicable behaviour?
Rodney marsh made a joke about tsunami/toon army and was never seen again. But gozzer spat at a 14 year old and thats ok.

Society …
Their model is based very substantially on the rags & dippers and the brainless dead who 'support' them, never go to matches, and believe everything that they're fed by sky, spitter & gargoyle 1. !!

Shit attracts flies !!

Watched Brighton vs Bournemouth the other night and thought Nigel Spackman on co commentary was decent

Couldn’t make game last night as it was my lads birthday so I wasn’t looking forward to the commentary but I was pleasantly surprised especially by hoddle I thought he was good

I almost never bother with their inane musings, but the odd occasion I’ve seen pundits discussing a game, only Joe Hart seems to come across as decent.

The others seem to be banal, stupid or biased, often all three.

Pundits = failed managers or not bright enough to get a job elsewhere.

They are usually shown up during WC/Euros when they get a "foreigner" on who can give better insight and speak better English (usually).

It’s amazing that with all the pundits we see, three of the best are ex-City; Nedum, Joe and Izzy.

Steph Houghton is pretty good too.

Anyone, who takes Keane seriously, after he called Erling a League
Two player, should give their head a wobble.
I like your posts but Keane didn't say he was a league 2 player. I just went back to the TV interview/ report after the match.

There is a difference between saying he's playing like a league 2 player and being a league 2 player. Said he's attacking skills were d great but other areas needed improvement.

Was Micahs take any better.

TBF it's fairly entertaining when Keane calls out the Rag players and managers, and there are some elements of truth to them. I'm tired of Neville's age-old "push every blame to the Glazers" schtick.

Fair enough.

I only read it second hand on here, because I never listen to the day wanker, as I can’t stand him.

There is not a single decent one on any mainstream platform.

Rooney is actually OK when he does punditry. I fully expect he will become more united focused the longer he does it. For the time being, he's actually been OK and fair

Then again Nev and Carra weren't THAT bad at the start but become increasingly more focused on their former teams rather than being a football pundit.

Keano is a pantomime act at this point, playing up to his role with his little quips. He's not an insufferable cheerleader though.

Souness was good, usually gave city a fair shake.

It'll be a competition between him and Richards to see who will explode first live on TV, their heads appear to get bigger week on week.

I try to avoid them all: they are either cheerleaders for the rags/dippers, or they are moronic pond life with about as much insight as a tube of toothpaste.
They should be both erudite and articulate, able to put a point across without the usual tired old platitudes like 'over the moon,' or 'sick as a parrot.' Camel Gob is a prime example of someone who fits snugly into that category. He wheels out the same old trite cliche's every time someone plants a mic in front of that extremely disturbing, mouth and lower jaw system he has sprawled all over his face.
