What we need is a designated player for when we (occasionally) get awarded a penalty. His sole job in that instance would be to dive immediately over the penalty spot and protect it. It would have to be a man with ankles of jelly, Mo Salah could do a job for us.

The keeper did far more scuffing up than any other player City+1 show it very clearly

You never see goalies mark a line from goal line to 6 yard box in the centre of the goal anymore, presumably as a reference point - when did that stop ?

Change the rules so that the pen can be taken as soon as the taker is ready. Stops all these shenanigans in a heartbeat.

I know what you are saying but it can't start until all the other players apart from the keeper are outside of the box for rebound purposes.
Now if all players are outside the box and the keeper is kicking the back of his heel against the post or walking up to the taker / walking back from walking up to the taker then yes ref should simply blow the whistle for the kick to be taken
