Punk and New Wave thread.

This is about UK Subs, my favourite Punk band back then. The Pistols and the Clash were much more famous but they weren't as good as the Subs, IMO of course. And Charlie Harper is still rocking the Subs at the grand old age of 77, and counting! : )

I had Teenage by UK Subs on Pink Vinyl - Charlie Harper must have been late 30's when it came out!

Charlie was a few days off his 37th birthday when Teenage was released so the old git wished he was teenage! : )

I had all but one of their singles on coloured vinyl to Keep On Running 7", but for some reason i bought Teenage on black vinyl. I seem to recall buying it from Woolies ex chart bargain bin for 50p iirc, so that's why I didn't bother buying it again on pink.

I always liked their B-sides, unlike some punk bands B-sides that were crap. I played these tracks as much (if not more) as Teenage

Loved those 1980 era coloured punk vinyls; "Warhead" on brown vinyl (good B-side there), Crass singles too. Endlessly fascinating to a 15 year old Unicorn.
