Cheers.is it known as a gig venue?..Will have to ask my City mate from Walthamstow as he would have been behind any visit there...So many great pubs in London with character . (Of you know where to look)...just the beer prices that scarce me,lol

yes it is a gig /club night venue, doesn't open as a boozer. Hosts the monthly Smiths & Morrissey night 1st Friday every month

There is a Star and garter pub in London too..think ive got confused...an elderly moment...do excuse me ;)

Mate of mine went to see UK Subs at the Star & Garter Sunday evening, Charlie Harper still going at it at 76!

I've not seen them for a while and I didn't know star n' getter still does gigs. I remember last gig I saw there were Angelic Upstarts years ago. Have they changed that horrible sticky carpet yet?
