All my life they have had money to throw around whether it came from a rich owner, the City of London, mortgaging themselves to infinity and back or whatever. So nothing will change.

Maybe it would become glaringly obvious to them that they would have no high moral ground to stand on. Whether or not this is true, it's a warning to us that we have to pull our finger out and get on with "the project". The world doesn't stand still and we have to grab our chances when we can.

I have said this before and I will say it again: We must go balls out to win the league this year, because there's simply no guarantee it will get any easier in future. It may well become more difficult. All this talk of "we are not ready" and "have to set reasonable targets" and "you can't build a team overnight" etc etc etc is all very well, but the fact is we have a really good chance of winning it THIS YEAR and this chance may not come along again for a long time.

EDIT: On a completely unrelated note, if this rags rumour comes to pass, Twatini will finally see what a complete fuck up his so called FFP rules are. United have enormous worldwide incomes and (luckily) are straddled with debt and have little funds for investment. Remove the debt and give them some cash and they are unstoppable. With the highest income, under Twatini's idiotic rules, they would be able to spend more than everyone else on players every single year. The Premiership would effectively be finished as a competition.

You think? The ones I know have already started to claim the moral high ground by going on about how they're against any new takeover etc etc especially from Arabs etc etc... they're fully aware they can just put the GAG scarf away, and carry on being the hypocritical gets they've always been, saying one thing and practising another.

Don't be daft, they can still only put 11 players on the pitch, everyone said nobody had a chance when Chelsea spent all that money. They will still have the problems of trying to sign the really top players, even the scum would struggle to get Ronaldo back from RM, Messi or Iniesta from Barca, De Pirlo from Roma etc.

Their squad will take a step up in quality if it happens - I'll bet Slur Alix will miraculously find "value" in the transfer market if he's handed £250m to rebuild his squad.........

Yes, it will make things harder but with the squad we have now and maybe 2-3 more coming in over Jan and the summer I'm pretty happy with what we have now. If Dzeko turns out as most BM'ers expect we are maybe a creative mid and 1 or 2 more from completing our squad. It's then down to finishing the knitting together of the "team" and getting a full pre-season with our completed squad.

Yeah I probably do come across as negative on some things but I also feel like I have been very positive on certain issues, it's just how I judge things. I don't think I'm half as bad as some of the overly positive/negative posters on here, and I don't aim to be confrontational or particularly stand out with what I write. If you don't like what I write, then sorry, but I can't please everyone.
