Qatar: 2022 World Cup Hosts:

Here are the stats on Qatar (now tell me somebodies palm didn't get greased when they voted for this shambles):

Population - 2010 census - 1,696,563 (So perhaps Manchester should make a bid next time with 2,600,100 population?)

Area - 4,416 sq miles (Or North West England should put a bid in, at 5,469 sq miles?)

So in summary a country smaller than North West England with a population a third less than Manchester is going to SOME HOW host the world cup in 46oC temps. Pathetic.

I don't see what's wrong with Qatar. They've put forth an attractive bid with an exotic feel. The fans will have modern accommodations and beautiful venues.

Unless those fans are Jewish as they don't allow any in....

And the temp will be average of 115-120 degrees when it's to be played. Should be some great football played in that heat....

Lovely place, perfect.

Probably a decision taken even before todays live event ......

things like this , just like high profile job interviews , and the X Factor , are almost certainly twisted to suit!

It's not what you know , it's who you know!

Northern Ireland should put in a cheeky bid, we're the same size and have a troubled past. We could break down the stadiums and give them to the Republic afterwards if their economy is still in the shit.
