Abject team beaten easily by poor team.
Crowd in a region not really noted for football buggers off home.
No surprises so far.
I reckon they all went for a sly pint and a quick bum.

At one point he invented the name “shake and bake” to describe what was a simple body swerve the daft ****.
Is that you Eric?I reckon they all went for a sly pint and a quick bum.
I still don’t understand how that’s offside today
They seem to have concluded that the player making the pass is offside, he’s the one heading it from under the keepers grasp and one of his legs is offside
Since when did that come into it? Is it not always the player receiving the pass
What am I missing here
The VAR and the computer can decipher that by the letter of the law it was offside. Without this technology it would never be deemed offside in real time by the naked eye. The defending side never played offside.I’m guessing you’re looking at an image where the player who actually heads the ball is obscured by the ‘keeper. When I first saw it I couldn’t understand how anybody could be off side as there only seemed to be one attacker and the ‘keeper in the vicinity. But there’s two attackers. One challenges the ‘keeper and gets a head on it and his mate who it drops to is narrowly but clearly offside.

It was pure luck that Qatar did not concede a goal. Completely against the spirit of the law and the beautiful game per se.
That can't be right. I've been told they're very passionate about football over there. There's no way they'd pay for a ticket and only manage to support their team for half a game.Got to be said as well, the crowd going home didn't help either!
