So negative never really looked like we wanted to win . Set up all wrong even our subs were too late and showed no desire

All on Pep that. That team selection was bordering on laughable.

Why I am still watching Delph playing despite brain fart after brain fart is beyond me, the fucker costs us a goal every time he plays.

When did David Silva (who I will love forever) last have a decent game?

Don’t get me started on the Sane situation.
 
Delph can no longer be trusted in the left back birth. Mahrez should never play for us again. KDB made more of a contribution than he did in 5mins than he did for the entire match. Why he left the subs so late I just can't understand. Absolute world class mistake Pep. You've well and truely fucked up here for lad. Woeful.
 
All about margins at this level

We still have enough quality to turn it around, provided they’re on the pitch... for me it was the first time I’ve seen Pep prioritise his squad all season.

Personally I think we’ll win and win well in the second leg, it could also be a blessing in disguise, if we were to lose one before the run in, I’d rather it was in a two legged affair..

I didn’t watch it today, just saying from past games that those 3 are probably the most average players in the squad... when they all play together then it’s no suprise we lose like we did tonight.
 
Really disappointing. Delph is no where near the level required. He is such a weak link. Thought the team selection was odd. Created very little. Wasted the chance from the penalty, it was a poor effort. I just don't see what Mahrez brings to this team. He is predictable and no where near keen enough to win the ball back. When we were dominating that 15 minutes in the second half that was the time to bring on KDB and Sane not with 2 mins of full time to go. Think Pep made some odd choices tonight.
 
Silva is finished, Mahrez should never start again, Jesus, the jury still out for me and several others not up to the job. We can't get away with playing this second string, it isn't good enough.
 
Will never understand why pep waited so long to bring on KDB and sane.

I'm convinced we would have scored if they had an extra 10 minutes.

Are our injuries that bad that we have to play players who are badly out of form? Delph lost his head months ago and Mahrez is afraid of his own shadow at times. What on earth has Sane done to piss Pep off so much?

Aguero simply has to score. End of.
 
What was Delph doing for the goal?

If they get an away goal we need three. Not over by any means but will be tough.
 
Ok Delph didn't have a great game, and he's probably the weakest player in the squad now, but we had little choice with Zinc out injured and Mendy having hardly played all season.

It wasn't just him that had a poor game, all round poor performance except for Eddie and Laporte.
 
Absolutely dreadful all over the park and it doesn’t help when the manager totally shits himself and plays a team that everyone knew was wrong.

Peps poor record in big European away games continues. No away goal will most probably come back to haunt us.

Silva needs dropping for the run in he’s been awful for months. Rather have Foden right now.

Oh and Mahrez is fucking rubbish.
