We was bossing the game in the 2nd half right up to they scored .
Thought we was so much better than them.
Think we will win 3_1 second leg

I understand about Delph but gundi was 6 feet away and made no effort to help. Pep great manager but between him and an abismal penalty from Aguero they have both left us in s shit position. The only two games we’ve not scored in is when pep played a team with fear instead of belief
 
Yep, not our finest hour, a performance like this was coming but come on people those having a full on thrombie need to give their heads a wobble
 
Delph costs us a goal per game this season when he starts. He lost Sons initial run then went to sleep. I thought we played poorly and sadly, it was those that shouldn't have been in the starting line up that let us down most. How bad does Walker need to get before he is dropped for Danilo. Delph poor, Otamendi bloody reckless in challenge. Mahrez?

Stones, Danilo, Sane should have started. What the hell was the point of putting on De Bruyne and Sane with a couple of minutes to go? I love Pep but he scores 4/10 for tonight. Lets hope we have the energy to overturn that next Wednesday. Fuming because we played badly. We are so much better than our last few games.
 
Made it difficult for ourselves with that poor performance, concede at home and we need to score 3. Dominated possession again but usual lack of shots on target,

We should get rid of Mahrez first thing in June. He is shockingly average, like I cannot even fathom how average he is. To think this guy won player of the year? Fuck me.

Silva we all love, but he’s done like you said. Pep needs to realise this or we’re winning fuck all else this season.
 
On reflection of the full 96mins we didn't deserve to win that game... but neither did they. How much did Ederson have to do in the first half? Save one shot. How much did Lorris have to do? Save a tame penalty.

It may have been tactical to soak up pressure and wear them out in that first half City display but it doesn't suit us.

Second half, Spurs were very much second best and scored against the run of play. Ederson could have done better, Delph could have been better and Gundogan could have got his positioning better to smell the danger too. A lax moment that cost us the game, too busy waving for the goal kick rather than playing to the whistle.

Still 1-0 isn't that bad, we can totally go 2-0 up and control the game from there at home.
 
That was disappointing.

Few posters on here suggesting we are conserving energy.

.......but when do we stop conserving energy?

On Sunday? Next week? ...when?

Sergio got no service, so he brings gabby on who gets no service.

CF will never get the right service with Mahrez playing as he hugs the right wing too much. Not mobile enough. It needs Sané and Sterling every time. Mahrez should never be picked before those two. It means Sterling has to go left to accommodate him. Shocking. I so want him to succeed, but he Isn’t a great fit for this team at the moment. Miles out of his depth
 
After the penalty which was a bonus we never looked like scoring.
Away goal would have been key, we didn't score at Klanfield last year either.
Can someone teach Gabbi about the offside rule.
Mahrez, Delph and Walker couldn't care less if they never played for us again.
Only positive Kane and Ali might miss the return.
 
We can still overturn this result, but that doesnt hide the fact that mahrez doesn’t suit the playing style of our team one jot. Bernado was missed badly. Our passing was poor all the first half but i thought we would come out better, but we failed to test lloris which is quite shocking.

It pains me to say this as he is my fave since he signed, but Merlin has been very quiet so far and is not having a massive influence we are accustomed too, Delph looks off pace compared to the inspirational zinchenko and that is another miss that hits us hard when it matters.

Onwards now and lets get the job done because regardless we can beat these at home butwill need to be at our best
