QPR Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

some posts in this thread are a fucking embarrassment. the title has not "gone", it wasn't "the worst we've played" we DID look like scoring. we were away from home facing a team fighting for their lives, we were missing two of our best players one of which is our captain. the conditions were terrible, yes the same for both sides but its a leveller. their goalie had the game of his life. add all that up and be thankful we are so good apart from ONE save from joe we were in total control. we have a point away from home so lets take that and go again next week.
That is not true. Cesar is a fantastic shot stopper but is dodgy when it comes to balls across his 6 yard box. We finally did that after 75 mins. Our tactics were all wrong.

The rags will focus on that weakness and exploit it. We continue to play slow tippy tappy shit which doesn't work.

It's clear that we lack pace. We are probably the team in the league with the slowest build-up play. I can't even remember the last time we had a successful counter attack.. We seriously need players who can take on a player and dribble past an opponent to create an opportunity..

Sinclair had a decent 10 mins...dont shoot me but he did well in that time.

Actually I saw some numbers and we had more chances from counter-attacks than any other EPL team. But I agree we lack width and pace.

Milners shit
Barry's Shit
Nasri's a whopper
Mancini a bellend
Balo's a cock, no wait we need him back
Clichy cant pass
Rags would'a won ten nil

Fuck me what have we become, seriously while I'm as disappointed as any of you, we are sounding more and more like them every day. GET A GRIP. They will drop more points and I hate to break it to some of you but I suspect there's a chance another team or two might decide not to gift us the full 3. It is supposed to be competitive sport after all. I would have thought a gap of 5 or even 7 insurmountable in March/April and how wrong I was but I'd never be throwing in the towel, in JANUARY. Have a word with yourselves. Its a setback but at this stage it really isn't terminal.

QPR were fucking wank and there for a beating. The fact we couldn't score once speaks volumes. They didn't even defend well. They never had the ball longer than 30 seconds. We should be leaving this game frustrated that we didn't get 5 or 6, instead we're leaving thinking we have just once again made it easier for the rags to win the league.

Agree with your last sentence.
Back on a nice big pitch on Sunday with space to find the angles in attack, we'll be back on it.

As for first one, that what post-match threads are for isnt it? ;)
Especially in the hours straight after result. The stuff on here isnt embarrassing, it's just a natural outlet of emotion/disappointment after us not winning.

A point gained against the team bottom of the league? I don't follow the logic. A point gained for me is Everton, Liverpool, Spurs, etc., not QPR. It's mid-table mentality to consider QPR away a point gained, IMO.

I can only assume he is joking, or taking the incredibly literal view of it, and viewing it as you start with nothing, and we have finished with a point, so with one more point than yesterday, it's a point gained???

Anyone who actually thinks a point at the bottom team in the league, for the team who are second, the current champions is a 'good point' or a 'point gained' is just bizarre.
