QPR Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

any city fan happy with that should hang their head in shame.

and as a previous poster said it was our responsibility to break them down.....we couldn't ....hence two points dropped.

the team/management aren't/shouldn't be immune from criticism when they don't perform.
Too right, make no doubt about it,the rags are laughing their balls off tonight,we had our chances and couldn't do it,big moment lost tonight, very very down and dissapointed

-- Tue Jan 29, 2013 11:41 pm --

Mario probably would have won us the game tonight. Remember the way he set up Sergio on the final day of last season?

I think even the recent run of results were down to Mario in a way because the other players knew he was getting back to full fitness and would be gunning to take their place if they did not improve.

Wouldn't surprise me if we fell 10+ points behind now.

Farewell mate. Thanks for the memories.
Go to bed

The arrogance of some is absolutely disgusting. Who the fuck says teams like QPR, (who we were like not too long ago), should play to win? They're fighting for survival and that tonight is like a victory for them. We are the dogs bollocks who people want to gain points off, but for teams like QPR the way to do it is to take 1 point not 3. There's nothing wrong with that from their point of view and all this 'it's the premiership FFS. They're parking the fucking bus' is arrogance personified.
TWO TEAMS.
Correct

When they play Utd, we'll be hoping they play the same way. They took all 3 points against Chelsea playing that way, and stopped Spurs.

Two points dropped and a game gone, but it's January - not April. if we win 5 out of every 6 games, we'll be Champions in May.
They will play the same way but United will find it much easier to break them down with their width and pace. Very rarely you see teams park the bus against United and go away with something.

Dire.

We were very poor first half and not much better second half.

No creativity from midfield was our problem today. Too many times Milner or Barry happy to pass it around and then get near the box and try double back and mug off another player.

Sinclair at least had a go when he came on, he needs a run of games like any winger to gain confidence to beat a player.

Slow build up and tempo killed us, QPR just sat back and soaked it up. Good job their shite going forward!

Ah well !
Wonder what would have happened if Mario came off the bench tonight?
Guess we'll never know.
he would have been back in the dressing room within 10mins...fact!!

But it's not a fact -it's just your guess

Spurs had width and pace a few weeks back.....same result as us.

No credit to QPR then

One game at a time. All pick yourselves up. We have a great team. Pull together, one aim, the title.
