Got to agree with Marvin we could struggle against Q.P.R .Dont be surprised if we lose this game.I would like to know why Man United game was shifted from the tuesday to the wednesday

Besides their cup game where they rested players, QPR have only let in 2 goals in their last 5 games and that includes clean sheets against Chelsea and Spurs. So I hope our wastefulness isn't prevalent again, it has cost us points in games we should have won. Fancy Dzeko to score as he has in the last three fixtures against these.

I want to be really positive so I believe we will win with at least 2 or 3 goals. This will be the game that our strikers will shine in! It's just a gut feeling, okay! ;)

Hart

Zabaleta
Garcia
Lescott
Clichy

Nasri
Milner
Barry
Silva

Aguero
Dzeko

Don't know what to expect with this game, they've been that poor this year that it wouldn't surprise me if they beat us in order to kick on and avoid relegation.

Got a big feeling Mancini will set up with three at the back with the reason being that I don't think he will feel 100% comfortable with a Lescott - Nastasic partnership, and by putting in Garcia there it should bolster things up a bit.

Even if Kompany has a bad game, his learsership is top class, thats what we will miss. Plus I don't think Nastasic and Lescott have paired together at all this season, have they?

-------------Hart------------
--Nastasic-Garcia-Lescott--
Zabaleta-Milner-Barry-Clichy
-------------Silva------------
--------Aguero Tevez-------

A bit of a 3-4-1-2 formation, I always think we should setup a little cautiously away from home.

This game is going to be a tough one.

no confidence in the team in form?

Been reading a few online predictions for tonight and a draw seems to be the common thought.

Jamie Rednapp keown and Lawro all see ot as a draw?

Am i being over confident in thinking we are in the best form all season and see this as a win for us...

First goal vital. Must ensure QPR aren't given unneeded encouragement.

have a sneaking suspicion we'll go 3-5-2 even though we don't have any of the ppl for it atm

Tbh the lineup could easily go 100 different ways with the players we have out and available. Really hope nastasic is fit if not this could get weird. Rekik is always a possibility and this would be a huge test for him. Just terrified of us starting out with 3 at the back as we all know how it will go. We'll look like shit, probably go down a goal and we'll wait till we're 20 some odd minutes into the 2nd half for us to finally change it. Start out normal 4 at the back and hammer these fools

Re: no confidence in the team in form?

I think this is a much harder game than people see it on paper, Qpr have been much tighter than the table suggests and recent results, forgetting the fa cup will give them confidence. I think the first goal will play a huge part in dictating the game. If we can score inside half hour and control the play and retain the ball I think we can go on the win. After doing so much hard work recently we can't afford to slip up now, got to apply the pressure to the rags and keep them looking over their shoulders!

This will be a hard game. People thinking any differently may get a surprise. We must take our chances tonight, they kept clean sheets against Chelsea and Spurs.

I'm going 1-0 City. QPR being bottom means little with that wily old sod in charge.

Why is that a problem? We play a day later at he weekend coming up against Liverpool.

Plus if we do win tonight, it puts more pressure on them to win tomorrow.

Same as last season, the QPR midweek night game will be very tricky. Forget about their FA Cup result.

They will be primed to give it everything and we need to match that commitment.

I hope Nasty plays. Platt wasn't saying either way. If not we may have to rely upon Rekik.

I think Kun should start with Edin.

Nervous !!!

In normal circumstances I would agree, as the fixture list becomes ever shorter the tension before each game ramps up due to the increasing significance of the result and its effect on the outcome of the title.

However, our form in January has been spectacular especially away where we have laid 2 horrible records to rest - 1st league win at Arsenal since the invention of the steam train and Mancini's first win at Stoke. Neither of those wins were lucky, with the goals bouncing in off the keeper's arse, but were secured with mature and professional football. There is no way we will play with complacency, there appears to be a hunger in the side and a belief in the team that we will win every game I'm not sure I've ever seen in a City side.

So, like I say QPR to win 1-0.
