It has mate,she was loved and respected the world over and I cannot see anyone remotely getting near to the dedication she showed.The monarchy is on the slippery slope

Whilst I don't agree with the notion of the royal family I do understand the importance of what has happened. She has devoted her life to this country with dignity. Sure the older generation will feel this more, my missus is in bits, but to give your life up, like Phillip did, to serve a country for 70 years demands respect from all people.

I'm off to raise a glass.
