Yea and no I don't dwell on the sad side of things for to long.Don't get me wrong it's an incredibly sad day for the nation but I tend to jump to the practical side of things .

As others have said on here, it has saddened me more than I ever expected and I'm no royalist. However, I had a deep respect for her. Just when we are worrying how to keep our lights on during the winter, the country's brightest light has gone out. God speed.

I think many on here are surprised with their feelings on this and its nice that they admit it..
Me for one.

Me being another mate, neither here nor there with much of the monarchy, wouldn’t say I’m particularly patriotic anyway (yet I am about being a Mancunian) but Queen Elizabeth II I had a real genuine affection and respect for.

When I saw the footage of her the other day I genuinely feared the worst over the coming days, I was actually shocked by how sad I was about seeing her that way, in many ways, as daft as it sounds, I think I always saw her as indestructible, she’s been an absolutely incredible ruler.
