Revered the world over.I'm watching Lazio and Feynoord, they had a mins silence and a picture of the Queen on a screen at the ground.

sure it's been said, but i would assume that all football will be off this weekend. rightly so.
Yes, strange. It seems so odd seeing "The King". No one under 70 has ever known that.
Either that or Sunday. Depends if today is day 1 or tomorrow.I'm I right in thinking the funeral will be a week on Saturday?
I have a similar outlook. A monarchy is an anachronism but the alternative of having a republic with a President doesn’t seem to be a step forward when you look at some of the countries that have them. I also think this will be the beginning of the end for the U.K. as a country of four nations.Whilst never a Royalist, she was clearly a great woman. Never put a foot wrong. I guess now the Commonwealth will go, Scotland will be independant and a united Ireland. The Queen held it together.
I agree with you here.Why?
Surely tributes at the game are sufficient?
Not sure I agree that the entire country needs to come to a standstill.
I think we will get the opportunity to pay our respects at St Giles Cathedral, up the hill from Hollyrood on the Royal Mile.Being taken to Hollyrood and then process up the Royal Mile.
Royal Train from Waverley back to London.
Agree with the end of the UK, time to make a break for some.I have a similar outlook. Rest in Peace Our Majesty, a shame some people seem to think this is a good day, I hope they get over themselves eventually, but they probably don’t have enough brain cells
