Anybody who wants to go down to London extra trains have been put in by Network Rail on the WCML services after Avanti got too greedy in asking for stupid money to run them from Saturday until Tuesday.

You might have to share with the spotters as they are being run using old stock.

People are now fighting verbally over who gets what in the queuing etiquette, MP's can invite 4 guests with them to queue jump and Holly And Phil used a purple lanyard as an access to "Backstage".

The cult of celebrity is strong and alive and well.

What really tickled me was all the dinks lining the route of the coffin . . . and being so thick that they couldn’t understand that it was purely symbolic - it was a crowd pleaser, there wasn’t anything in it, the corpse was elsewhere on ice so that it didn’t cause a stink.

Rail Delivery Group drivers as far as I'm aware?

I thought rail delivery group was just a kind of administrative organisation that oversees the industry?

Why would they employ train drivers and what do they do when there’s not a Queen’s funeral?

Where I’m going with this, is are there a bunch of competent, fully trained drivers ready to go to potentially break strikes?

I made an error it's ROG. Rail Operations Group that have railway contracts for mainly moving various empty passenger rolling stock around the country for maintenance reasons or moving trains to other TOCs. Such as 170s from ScotRail to East Midlands.
