Queen Elizabeth II

I made an error it's ROG. Rail Operations Group that have railway contracts for mainly moving various empty passenger rolling stock around the country for maintenance reasons or moving trains to other TOCs. Such as 170s from ScotRail to East Midlands.

Thanks. Same could potentially apply though regarding strike breaking. Hopefully they’ve got a bit more about them if they were ever asked.

I thought rail delivery group was just a kind of administrative organisation that oversees the industry?

Why would they employ train drivers and what do they do when there’s not a Queen’s funeral?

Where I’m going with this, is are there a bunch of competent, fully trained drivers ready to go to potentially break strikes?
A weekend. Fewer freight trains. Though these days drivers don't necessarily know other companies' trains.

You sir are a genius, maybe a flyover with a glass bottomed RAF Sunderland?
Just up and down the river would be my suggestion. Don't bother with the coffin at the funeral, just straight up the river to Windsor.
