When we shouldered my Dad it hadn't occurred to us, and the undertaker failed to mention, that because he'd had to be flown home from hols it was a lined coffin, which weighed a fair bit more than normal. How we got him up the church steps is still a mystery!

The "standard" coffin is heavy enough!

It makes me feel better that my mum as joined my dad and they are together again. Let’s face it no one will ever know if there is or isn’t .

My mum passed away a few weeks ago,she would have been so upset with the Queens passing but so proud of the service today

Joking aside PC there’s not enough in the town centre, especially around deansgate going towards the town hall etc, amazed by the amount in London tbh and it looks great.

I suspect there’ll be another one sometime in the next 20 years.

Obviously there will be more state funerals, but not for a queen who’s reigned for 70 years.

Also for my parents generation they might not see another one.

It would be quicker to tell you what he hasn't got.

He's a very sick man. Bad heart. Kidneys goosed. COPD. Permanent catheter. Diabetes. Asthma.

Personally I think he's a hypochondriac :)

A lot to put up with, as my old fellah said a couple of years before he passed “we’re living too long” it’s only the medication that keeps them going, sometimes it’s really not for the best as the impact on others is huge, it’s not living a life, it’s just existing.

Found it a bit strange he didn't mention who the heads of States were as they were entering the church ,my missus kept asking who's that and I didn't have a clue with some of them
