I’m struck by all the trees on London streets, Manchester could follow this example and plant more, especially in the town centre.

I've done it 4 times. Both parents and a couple of uncles. Hated the gig, to be honest. Your overriding feeling is, don't mess it up.

When we shouldered my Dad it hadn't occurred to us, and the undertaker failed to mention, that because he'd had to be flown home from hols it was a lined coffin, which weighed a fair bit more than normal. How we got him up the church steps is still a mystery!
