Not a royalist by any means (no strong feelings either way, really), but it feels like the end of an era. I'm guessing that 75% of the UK population have never known every day life with any other monarch. She's back with her beloved Phil now.

Dreadful news, and even though I'm not a staunch royalist, I've shed a little tear and I'm not ashamed to say so. Affected me far more than I thought it would.
