Hat’s off to her for a lifetime of absolutely impeccable & dignified service … going to feel very strange for a few days coming to terms that someone who has reigned so honourably during my whole life is no longer there to lead our country.

Not a royalist by any means (no strong feelings either way, really), but it feels like the end of an era. I'm guessing that 75% of the UK population have never known every day life with any other monarch. She's back with her beloved Phil now.

Pretty much how I feel, huge news and very sad really.

Im really saddened and i didnt think i would be. Im a royalist, but in no way staunch and i do think the royal family needs reforming

But she was an Amazing woman who gave her life to this country , heard it mentioned on here that she ‘had a life that many would envy’. Bollocks. I wouldnt have swapped.
